Southworth and Hawes Daguerreotypes - Object Search (Pilot Project) An open-source solutions for sharing data and images generated as a result of a collaborative conservation documentation project. Detailed condition monitoring of daguerreotypes in the exhibition Young America: The Daguerreotypes of Southworth and Hawes (2005), organized by GEH, demonstrated alarming changes in the condition of the objects during the exhibition period.
British artists' suppliers (1650-1950) - By National Portrait Gallery Is a directory of British and foreign firms of artists' suppliers and colourmen operating in Britain and British firms operating overseas. It focuses on the supply of painting materials to British artists, especially portrait painters, up until 1950.

Dictionary of Australian Artists Online (DAAO) Is an open access and dynamic scholarly reference work. You can search 8026 biographies by over 400 biographers, and watch for 562 new biographies currently in progress. You can discover themes and patterns from 45 years of art scholarship. Forbes Pigment Database A collection of colorants assembled by the late Edward Waldo Forbes, former Director of the Fogg Art Museum at Harvard University (1909-1945). These colorants have been analyzed widely by most of the labs and thus the goal of this database is to provide one central, searchable, readily-accessible location for the compilation of any available information from all sources. The combination of this information will document the materials and aid in the determination of their compositions.
